The devil's in the detail

Some really effective room signage here from the Fairmont, Sonoma, California. Increasing attention is paid to the graphic details in hotel design, there is an opportunity to add to the overall design concept and experience. Using backlighting here makes the room number both legible and gives a sense of drama to corridors that otherwise would be quite plain.
